Soul Eater Fanfic - Date Night

"Soul, no. I'm really nervous. I don't think this is a good idea anymore."

"Maka, come on! Relax. It'll be fine."

"Have you even thought of the consequences? You know, like, what could happen?"

"Uh… yeah, but I don't really think there's anything we can do to avoid that.
Just stay cool. I'll be right with you."

Maka sighed. Soul had always known what to say. She continued putting on her jean shorts, cute, purple, ruffled top, curling her hair, and putting a bit of makeup on. Once she was finished she turned to Soul in his cool T-shirt and khakis and melted in his gaze. He walked over to her, putting his hands on her shoulders.

"It'll be a fun time. Try not to think about it too much," Soul said as he gave her a crooked smile.

Maka relaxed a bit as they began to head out. "I couldn't imagine what they're all doing right now."

"LIZ, PATTY! LOOK AT THIS! I CAN'T HANDLE THIS! OH MY GREAT GOODNESS! NONONONONONONO! THEREISATEARINMYSHIRTTTTTTTT!!!!!!" Kid screamed at the top of his lungs.

Liz and Patty both turned to look at Kid with half of their makeup and clothes on.

Liz began giggling.

"Kid, it's gonna be okay. Just find a different shirt to wear," Liz assured him, trying to stay focused on her makeup.

"NONONONONONOICANTHANDLETHISLIZPATTY… IDESERVETODIEDONTI?ISHOULDNTBEBREATHINGANYMORE.IDONTEVENDESERVETOGOONTHISTRIPLEDATEWITHEVERYONE!" Kid screeched once again.

"Ugh!" Liz sighed. "Patty, why don't you try to help him?"

"You got it, sis!" Patty giggled. She then walked over to Kid and viciously picked him up from the floor where he was having a seizure and said, "If you don't stop this shit right now so help me I'll hang your sorry ass by an unsymmetrical rope."

Kid stared at her, tears and all and said, "I hate you so much!" and got a different shirt.

Once all the tears and cloths fits were over the trio headed towards the door and wondered if the other two pairs were ready yet.

"THERE'S NO WAY I'M GONNA LET SOME HALF-ASSED DRESS SHIRT BEAT ME!" BlackStar yelled at the shirt he was trying to get on.

"Um… BlackStar… If your having problems with that shirt… You can always wear a different one… maybe…" Tsubaki suggested with caution.

BlackStar starred at her, wide-eyed. "Um… or not…"

BlackStar then shred the shirt up into a million different little pieces.

"Damn straight I'll wear a different one. That one's not worthy enough for me."

Finally, Tsubaki and BlackStar (in their worthy enough apparel) headed to the restaurant they were to meet Kid, Liz, Patty, Soul, and Maka at.

"Yo!" BlackStar said as he caught sight of everyone.

"Hey!" Soul said.

"Greetings," Kid greeted.

They all then walked into the restaurant. Maka and Tsubaki couldn't help but notice a few heads turning as they entered the room. Once they were seated Maka looked everyone up and down. Liz and Patty were wearing matched blue tank tops and skinny jeans with cute makeup, Kid wore a shirt that looked like it was torn a bit but was patched up, BlackStar was wearing one of his usual shirts, and Tsubaki was wearing a short, casual dress with her hair down.

The waitress was quickly over to take their drinks and then left them alone in silence, which was short-lived.

"YOU GUYS SHOULD'VE SEEN WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE WE CAME HERE! THERE WAS THIS SHIRT THAT I WAS TRY-" BlackStar's booming began.

"Umm… BlackStar… maybe you can not talk so loud?" Tsubaki asked.

"Yeah dude, the whole world can hear you," Soul added. Maka smiled but glared at BlackStar.

BlackStar turned his head. "YOU DON'T WANNA HEAR MY STORY? FINE!" BlackStar said and was quiet for a while.

"So Maka," Kid began. "How are you and Soul doing on making him a Death Scythe?"

"Oh, you see-" Maka began but was interrupted when the waitress came over to give the group their drinks when she accidentally spilled a red one on Kid's white shirt.

First Kid screeched, then his mouth started spawning foam, and he fell out of his seat onto the floor. Patty laughed wildly.

"Oh, you really did it this time," Soul said as he chuckled. BlackStars booming laugh also stared. Maka did a face-table. Tsubaki was too stunned to say anything and Liz rushed to Kid's side, trying to shake him awake.

"I'm so sorry!" the waitress repeated over and over again.

After a few seconds Kid awoke and looked down at the mess of himself, quickly got up, and raced out the door as if Hell was at his heels. Liz followed and pulled Patty along.

The group all shook their heads.

After the mess was cleaned and a bit of time was passed with small talk the remaining group's food finally came. But when the waitress placed BlackStar's food down in front him he abruptly stood up and said in a loud voice that resonated throughout the room," THE MAN WHO SURPASSES GOD DESEREVES A MILLION TIMES BETTER QUALITY FOOD THAN THIS CRAP! I'M LEAVING! C'MON TSUBAKI!" he commanded as he dragged Tsubaki out of the restaurant.

Once again Maka face-tabled.

"Should've expected this, right?" Soul asked. Maka laughed.

"And YOU said it'd all be fine."

"I'm still with you, aren't I?"

Maka gazed out the window a moment, then answered, "We should get going too," with a smile.

"To where?"

"Oh, I don't know. Doesn't matter as long as I'm with you, right?"
